TIBER.info was started by Maarten Bras. Maarten was part of the original team at the Dutch Central Bank that created the Threat Intelligence-Based Ethical Red-teaming (TIBER) framework. He also worked at the European Central Bank on TIBER-EU and managed European wide tests and he worked at the Bank of England with CBEST.
After more than 10 years in the financial sector Maarten started Cyberdefense B.V. in 2022 to use his experience to help other countries and sectors with threat led penetration testing and implementing the TIBER-EU framework.
Currently Maarten is supporting the Government of the Netherlands and Z-CERT in the healthcare sector on threat led penetration testing.

Being part of the original TIBER team Maarten brought the original vision and knowledge about TIBER to Cyberdefense B.V.
Multiple countries
Since the start of TIBER more than 16 countries have adopted TIBER-EU and Maarten has supported many with implementing TIBER and managing their TIBER tests.
Multiple sectors
Cyberdefense B.V. is currently working for the Dutch government via the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and the Dutch healthcare sector via Z-CERT. Next to that Maarten worked for more than 10 years in the financial sector.
